Theatre

I’ve designed sets and costumes for a number of companies. Selected shows include Tarragon Theatre’s, The Baltimore Waltz, Theatre Direct Canada’s, A Secret Life and illusionist David Ben’s production of Tricks. As a scenic artist, I’ve painted hard scenery and drops for companies including Theatre Passé Muraille, Young People’s Theatre, Opera Atelier and the National Ballet of Canada. My involvement in large scale musical theatre, includes Whistle Down the Wind, Jane Eyre, three touring productions of The Lion King, and US touring productions of Annie and Sunset Boulevard. From 1999 to 2013 I was the head scenic artist with the Soulpepper Theatre Company. I am a proud Charter Member and Past President of IATSE Local 828, the union representing prop makers and scenic artists throughout Southern Ontario.
